It takes a lot of planning....

Today we met again as a team and worked out a lot of the details for our VBS program. Pray for each of us as we prepare our part of the program. I will be teaching a lesson on the 10 lepers~ my desire is for God's Spirit to show me ways to relate this story to the Romanian children in a way that will be relevant in their lives. Jesus reaches out in kindness to us even when the rest of the world turns away from us. This is the truth I will be chewing on for the next several weeks.

I am a planning person. I always want to know the details, and have everything figured out. Sometimes this causes me to do things in my own strength and not allow God to work through me. This is my greatest desire in preparation for this trip.. that I would get out of the way and allow the Spirit of God to do what He wants to in me and through this trip.


This week is our first fundraiser at Chik fil A. I am praying that this would open many doors to share with people our faith in Christ, and why we want to go to Romania.
